A few months ago I blogged that M·A·C Cosmetics was releasing a Wonder Woman collection and the details have finally been released! This DC Comic heroine’s makeup collection will be available in the U.S. and Canada on February 10th and the rest of the world in March. Previous M·A·C collections include Hello Kitty, Barbie, Disney Villains and more. Although I don’t need anymore makeup it is absolutely necessary to have this in my life! Plus my rocker name on Guitar Hero and Rock Band is “Glamazon” so it’s only right.
My favorite product names include “Army of Amazons” mascara, “Obey Me” nail polish, and “Lady Justice” and “Diana Undercover” eye shadow, “Athena’s Kiss” lipglass and “Mighty Aphrodite” blush.
Check out prices and product listening here at Style it On (prices range from $14- $49.50)
“Banish any thought of being a Plain Jane: M∙A∙C and Wonder Woman have joined forces! For Spring 2011, take a trip to Paradise Island with a legendary line up of super-sized Mineralize Skinfinish, bold Eye Shadow quads, Pigment, Opulash, Lipsticks and oversized Lipglass, jumbo-big Powder Blush and Penultimate Eye Liner, Nail Lacquer and Lash inspired by the larger-than-life Bold Babe. Dashing and dazzling, the iconic super heroine reminds us that inside every woman is a Mighty Aphrodite full of courage, confidence and charisma. Kaboom! Mission Accomplished!
Wonder Woman has always known the importance of astounding accessories. For her collaboration with M∙A∙C, we’ve infused her sense and fantasy and wonder into a vivid collection of awe-inspiring accessories as fierce and feminine as the heroine herself. Bright, bold, superhuman designs in Makeup Bags – from radiant Red to Bulletproof Blue, Utility Belt Brush Sets, and exclusively online, the WW T-Shirt and Invincible Mirror. Shazam! (via Temptalia)”

Fan girls get ready because in Spring 2011 your favorite Amazonian Princess Wonder Woman is partnering with MAC Cosmetics to create a limited edition makeup collection. The collection will include lipsticks, eye shadows, blushes and nail polishes ranging from $13 to $49.50.
I’m a fan of MAC especially their Lipglass in Lychee Luxe and their eye shadows draw me in like a moth to a flame. It’s a given the collection will have some fierce blues, red and golds. This September MAC is also debuting their Disney Venomous Villains collection.
People are already coming up with possible names and suggestions for some of the products:
- A pair of chunky wrist bands that double as compacts (LA Times)
- “Invisible Plane” clear nail polish (LA Times)
- “Pucker Up (Diana) Prince” lip gloss (LA Times)
- “Golden Lash-o” gold-flecked mascara (“Bat your eyes and no man can lie to you …”) (LA Times)
- “Invisible Plane” concealer (LA Times)
- A “Themyscira” palette with shadows named for the six Olympian deities who blessed Diana with her superhuman abilities (GeekGloss)
- ”Golden Tiara” highlighter and bronzer (GeekGloss)
- Tubes of Lipglass (MAC’s signature lipgloss) featuring metallic cuff-inspired caps, a golden eagle motif and names like “Amazon” or “Pleasure Island” (GeekGloss)
