You all are fully aware of how much a massive Doctor Who fan I am. I literally waited in line for over 6 hours on two separate occasions mind you for DW related events and to meet the main cast and Steven Moffat (you can read about that here and here). Where’s my (#DWlineCon peeps at?!). That’s some serious obsession right there!
My Facebook page and Twitter is practically a continuous love letter to Doctor Who. I want to thank all my fellow Whovians for emailing me Tennant LOL cats, tweet-a-thons, Facebook gush-a-thons, sending me Doctor Who episodes that haven’t made their way across the pond yet and just basically existing. No really, I barely have anyone IRL to talk to about Who so I love that I know I can go on Facebook or Twitter and have the best conversations with you all that madman in a box we love so much.
This giveaway is exclusively for my Twitter followers and Facebook fans. Two lucky Whovians will win the very popular shirt design from Threadless Doctor Hoo, depicting all eleven doctors as adorable owls designed by Mallory Dyer. How cool is it that Hartnell and Troughton are in black and white?! It’s the little things ya know? A big thanks to Threadless for sponsoring this giveaway!
The rules the contest will end on Monday June 6th:
Please don’t post responses on here, this is exclusively for my social networking friends, don’t worry everyone else there will be more contests to come!

Answer the following question:
If you could have the TARDIS take you anywhere in space and time where would it be and why?
My twitter friend @kris_tea showed me the first web comic about the new baddies from Doctor Who. SERIES 6 MINI SPOILER: For those non Who’ers out there, whenever someone looks away the race of aliens called The Silence (the aliens in these comics) they immediately forget them. These comics almost make me feel bad for them… almost.
I’ve just returned home from the NYC screening for Doctor Who series 6’s first two episodes, The Impossible Astronaut and Day Of The Moon presented by BBC America and my head is still buzzing with excitement! I also haven’t eaten a full meal in about 20 hours so the buzzing might be a little bit of that as well. Writer Steven Moffat made us promise we would keep our reviews spoiler free…*River Song* voice “spoilers” so don’t worry. I planned on doing that anyway and trust me, you’ll thank me later. What happens in the first two episodes of series 6 you want to find out the old-fashioned way, with all of the shock and awe preserved.
I’ll start off by saying what an outrageously incredible few days it has been for me. After two major events it feels even more amazing than normal to be a Doctor Who fan right now. I’ve never done one of those, “waiting long hours in line for something geeky” events before, but for Who it was a pleasure and I’d gladly do it all over again. Especially when so many awesome and enthusiastic fans surround me!
As some of you may know I’m in the process of catching up with Doctor Who. Last night I finished season 4 and literally can’t get that ending off my mind! (SEASON 4 SPOILER ALERT) It’s also funny to mention that I was legitimately surprised about the Daleks I had to ask myself, “Really Jamila?! It’s ALWAYS the Daleks!” My love for this show and the Doctor just seems to dramatically increase episode by episode. This past season I’ve been attempting to mentally prepare myself for life without Tennant knowing that his time is coming to an end. I anticipate a bought of depression to come along.
Current and soon-to-be Whovians we have Bob Canada to thank for the comprehensive infographic on Doctor Who and to all eleven Doctors, the TARDIS and the Sonic Screwdriver.
Happy Valentine’s Day Whovians! What better way to celebrate this day of love than with the show with a lot of heart, well two hearts to be exact. My brother suggested I watch Doctor Who sometime last year and once I finally got around to it my life hasn’t been the same since! I’ve laughed and cried and everything in between. I’ve even had dreams of David Tennant (#DavidTennantGroupie), but then again how could you not?!
My ringtone is the TARDIS takeoff/landing and when my phone rings I instinctively run to the room expecting the doctor is there with the TARDIS ready to finally take me as his newest companion (I keep a packed suitcase by my bed just in case). Expect to see a blog post from me soon about 10 Reasons why I love Doctor Who. Narrowing it down the 10 will be the hard part.
I found these fantastic/brilliant/lovely DW Valentine’s Day ecards on Craig Hurle‘s Doctor Who and The TARDIS Facebook page. The Simpsonized DW ecards were made by the ultra awesome Dean aka Springfield Punx check out his blog for other Simpsonized characters. (If someone knows the other artists can you let me know please?) Check out his Facebook page for more goodies and follow him on twitter @TheDrWhoTARDIS. Which ones are your favorites?
